Starting Point:

The main trailhead is 1.25 miles from downtown at the 500' contour of Mt. Ripinsky. Go uphill on 2nd Ave. to Young Road to the parking area at the end. Trail starts just prior to Old Pipeline Road at a gate. The "Seven Mile Saddle" trailhead provides access at a boardwalk 200 yards from 7 mile milepost. It is three miles from the ferry terminal and three miles from the airport.
