The short, trail follows the shoreline to a pleasant beach and provides access to Mt. Riley.

Starting Point:
There are three trailheads.
Follow Beach Road east around Portage Cove and turn right up a hill to the end of the road seven-tenths of a mile from the cove, 1.5 miles from the City Dock. Keep on the left of a fork approximately one mile into the trail.
